I
decided that I would go to Italy.
My bags were packed, my paintings were ready
and my passport was stamped with the necessary visas.
On
the 11th of January, 1979, we signed the marriage license
at the courthouse of Haznedar and became man and wife. Two
days latter, we left for Italy by train to find my frend Franco.
While traveling through Yugoslavia, the sole wedding present
of any real value, a string of pearls, was stolen from around
her neck.
